Your Role: Lead the Projects That Shape the Future

As Technical Project Manager, you’ll take charge of our most impactful development projects within mechanical, hardware, software and firmware – from early concept to full production ramp-up. You’ll work closely with skilled engineers, helping them break down complex problems and drive progress together.

You’ll be the person who ensures clarity, structure, and momentum – while also having the courage to challenge, hold direction when needed, and guide the team. Onics has a strong focus on quality tightly balanced with schedule and budget, and your role is key in keeping that front and center.

This is a position with room to influence – and we’re looking for someone with the initiative to take that space.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle – from scope and schedule to execution and delivery
• Drive alignment between internal stakeholders – from development and supply chain to production and sales
• Facilitate planning and progress – working hands-on with developers and teams to keep things moving
• Ensure quality and cost targets – while staying flexible and pragmatic in a fast-changing environment
• Proactively manage risks – and turn challenges into solutions
• Engage, involve, and lead – people will look to you for direction and clarity
• Implement best practices and conduct post-project reviews to drive future improvements.

Your strengths

• Project management experience within product development (mechanical/hardware/software/firmware)
• Strong coordination and communication skills – you’re not afraid to speak up, challenge, and engage with engineers across disciplines

• A mindset for quality – and the ability to challenge decisions when needed
• A data-driven and solution-oriented approach to problems
