At the Aalborg office, we develop key software components for consumer devices used by Sky and Comcast broadcast and internet customers. We are expanding our presence in Denmark, adding additional technical areas and you will have a unique opportunity to grow as part of a new team starting here.

The UI team here in Aalborg consists of nine great developers, and together with them you will have the opportunity to influence the workflow and improve the performance for customer facing features on the Sky’s Glass TV. You will also be working with colleagues worldwide, to create the best solutions and continue the development.

What are we looking for?

• Master or BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar education
• Experience with project-oriented software development
• Experience with C++ or extensive experience in a similar object-oriented language like C#, Kotlin or Swift.
• Strong unit testing experience
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages
• Preferably experience with CMake or similar project build environment
• Experience with Linux is a plus
• Strong continuous improvement mindset
• Talented people with a passion for software architecture, designs and implementation of software systems
• Proactive and adaptable attitude
• Testing mindset

What will you be doing?

As part of this team, you will participate in the development of UI software for Sky’s Glass TV which is used by millions of customers every day. The team’s mission is to optimise engineering practices through continuous innovation with new tools, processes and frameworks.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Analysing and improving existing workflows
• Over time contribute to customer facing UI features
• Sharing knowledge and good programming habits
